In the fall of 2024, I took a rigorous international marketing course that required my small group to create a comprehensive marketing plan for an existing company entering a new country. Quickly, we settled on introducing La Croix to the English beverage market. Our deliverables included a detailed 15-page report and a 15-minute presentation showcasing our in-depth research and strategic recommendations.
My role in the project focused on conducting thorough research and analysis of the product, market landscape, competitive positioning, and marketing mix. I explored La Croix’s brand identity, consumer trends in England, and potential market entry strategies, generating innovative ideas to ensure the brand’s success overseas. Throughout the semester, my team and I met frequently to refine our strategy and align our findings into a cohesive, professional plan. It was challenging to apply our marketing knowledge to an unfamiliar country, but after months of research and collaboration, we presented our completed final project to our professor and peers.
Our work was met with high praise. After we finished, we confidently answered questions and demonstrated a strong grasp of international market dynamics, earning us an A on the project.
